Sister Love

Started this year by Mrs. Michelle James with the purpose of strengthening today's young ladies for a greater future by promoting self awareness and building self confidence.

5000 Role Models

In Miami Dade County, Florida, young males are gaining life skills, academic inspiration and social education from the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Projects. At-risk youths are matched with successful adult volunteers and mentors who meet with them regularly to provide advice and guidance, while educating them on social Issues.

Oak Grove Elementary 5000 Role Models of Excellence program is headed by Mr. Alex McDugle, Role Model Site Director.

Before the start of the school day, at the end of it, and for special events, Oak Grove's Safety Patrol are stationed throughout the campus to monitor and provide assistance when necessary.

Easily identifiable by their neon yellow sashes. They are there to help maintain order on-site.

Led and coordinated by Mr. Raynald Benoit the "Tigers" Basketball team motivates students through academics and athletics to achieve their highest potential, and reinforce fundamentals on and off the court.
