Principal's Message

Welcome to Oak Grove Elementary Community School, where our goal is to provide all students with a rewarding, highly enriched, quality educational program. This starts with a solid foundation in a safe and nurturing environment. We expect all of our students to respect themselves and their school, which will be emphasized daily along with the need to move from learning to READ to READING TO LEARN. Having a positive and stimulating learning environment will be one of the key factors to the academic success and achievement of all students at Oak Grove Elementary Community School. We are firm believers in the African Proverb that "it takes an entire village to train/teach a child". Therefore, we elicit the assistance of all individuals: the staff, parents, family members and the community at large to assist us in making sure that the students of Oak Grove Elementary Community School accomplish this task and become productive members of this multicultural society.
